ISB Head of School

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the International School of Beijing. I appreciate the time and commitment you have all put into your preparation both as students, who juggle classes and co-curricular activities, as well as teachers and coaches, who I know are busy throughout the day working with and helping our students. Your experience at ISB will be memorable, you will make new friends, and enjoy reconnecting with old acquaintances. Most importantly of all, you will enjoy the swimming; and that’s what you are here for! You are guaranteed a warm welcome, great facilities and a memorable experience.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make your stay at ISB enjoyable. Good luck and have a great time throughout the tournament.

Warm regards,

Welcome to Beijing, welcome to ISB and welcome to APAC Swimming 2019! I can tell you with some certainty that our community at large is thrilled to be hosting and are looking forward with great anticipation to seeing all of you in action in the pool this weekend. Sport is a great facilitator for bringing people together, so to compliment the inevitable fast times in the pool and possible APAC records, we hope you will take time to renew old friendships and develop new ones, as well as try to enjoy just a little taste of Beijing and all it has to offer.

Good luck to all of you and please do reach out at any time if there is anything you need to make your stay with us more enjoyable. Swim well, enjoy the competition and please take full advantage of the wonderful opportunity that this week offers you, both in and out of the water!

Dear athletes, coaches, and parents:

We are excited to be hosting you for this year's APAC Swimming Championships. Welcome to campus and to the great city of Beijing.

Over the next few days, participants will hopefully create lifelong memories of competing alongside their teammates and forming friendships with students from around the world. While each race can only have one winner, all of you should feel immense pride if you gave it your best effort and represented your schools as exemplary ambassadors. And, I am sure, many of you will set some personal bests along the way!

We hope you enjoy yourselves and thank you for coming to Beijing to be a part of the event. If there is anything we can do to make sure you have a positive experience, please do not hesitate to ask.
