We are excited that you have chosen to join the ISB community and we look forward to getting to know you and your child.

In the elementary school we believe that every child has a natural curiosity to explore, discover and seek answers to their questions.  We strive to cultivate an environment that values each child as an individual and as a learner.  We aim to build a strong foundation of skills and concepts that enables children to grow as thinkers and leaders as they progress through the elementary school.  With a deep sense of care for your child's growth and well-being, we partner with you to ensure a smooth transition into the ISB community and throughout your family's time in the elementary school. At ISB we believe that students must be the center of their academic journey and actively participate in the learning process.  Our research-based programs and standards-based curriculum integrate skills and content that drive students toward self-awareness, self-confidence and success.  From Early Years 3 to Grade 5, we meet your child where they are and support their growth as an independent learner.  

The majority of ISB communication happens via the app SeeSaw and our online portal, Dragons' Gate. Once you receive your login information, we encourage you to explore the site as there is lots of useful information to be found. You may want to start with the Elementary School Handbook, which can be found under the 'ISB Learning' menu.
