The Performing Arts Department believes that co-curricular performing groups complement our performing arts curriculum by offering technical skill development, the opportunity to perform in groups and the exploration of styles and genres not covered in curricular classes.
The co-curricular activities include choirs, dance, jazz bands, string ensembles and theatrical productions (musicals, dramas and one-act plays).
4th & 5th Grade Band
Students can choose to play flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, trombone or baritone in the 4th, 5th & 6th grade band. Students come to one class a week depending on the choice of their instrument. There are assemblies and concerts for student to perform in during the year.
