Lower Elementary School includes the EC 3 and 4 levels up to grade 2

Within the elementary school, we take a developmental approach to teaching and learning. Just as all children do not learn to walk or talk at the same time, all children do not grasp the same skills and concepts at the same time. By looking at each child as an individual, and through careful and on-going assessment of skill development, we are able to provide an instructional program based on each students’ developmental level and needs.

Upper Elementary School is comprised of grade levels 3 to 5

We believe that children learn better and retain more when they are actively involved in what they are doing. At ISB, everything that is happening in a child's experience is connected together by a common thread or theme, making it easier for students to relate to the concepts being taught, maintain their concentration and grasp understanding.

Middle School Program includes grade levels 6 to 8

The Middle School at ISB has a vibrant and enthusiastic environment. The dedicated and highly professional staff bring not only high levels of experience in education but also, total commitment to the well being of each student. Our role is to support them, to encourage positive attitudes and relationships, to teach them strategies and processes and to be there when they need help.

High School is comprised of grade levels 9 to 12

In ISB's High School, around 620 students and more than 80 teachers and administrators work together daily to learn, grow and develop as global citizens. Our aim is to make the high school a place where students want to spend time and energy learning about each other, their world, and their own Mission Statement.
