| BAY AREA WRITING PROJECTS |
The Bay Area Writing Project (BAWP), housed in the Graduate School of Education, is a collaborative program between UC Berkeley and Bay Area schools. For over 25 years, BAWP has been a vital resource for teachers and schools in the Bay Area, not only in the teaching of writing but also as a model of professional development, teacher leadership and reform. |
| BREAD LOAF YOUNG PEOPLE'S WRITING CONFERENCE |
The Conference offers a balance of "formal" and "informal" writing events including conference-wide gatherings to hear others read, to generate new work, to conference on existing manuscripts, to explore and challenge young writers with new ideas and methods. |
| CORNELL UNIVERSITY SUMMER HONORS PROGRAM |
Enrichment courses for students completing their sophomore year in high school with an emphasis on writing. |
